Description
Detail of decoration from one of the earliest designs from the Avro range, first developed in 1923. Avro was the first truly branded collection to be produced by Symington. Based on a design from 1900, this model of corset continued to be produced until 1935.
The corset is made from grey coutil and features a straight double busk and spiral boning. On each side of the corset are two small, decorative square sections, which reveal the spiral boning.
