Title
L3168 - Uxbridge High Street station
Description
L3168 - The main approach to Uxbridge High Street Station on the Great Western Railway's Uxbridge Branch. The station was unusual in the fact that it was elevated, but was otherwise built to a tried and tested pattern favoured by the Great Western. Interestingly, the 'PARCELS AND CLOAK ROOM' has been built on the lower level, separate from the main station buildings and under a steel girder bridge. Access to the platforms was gained via a covered staircase. In front of this office stands a horse-drawn taxi. The date is circa 1906.
